At Parkmore Medical Centre, we have always adhered to the strictest hygiene standards for the safety of all our patients and staff. Due to the rapidly changing environment surrounding COVID-19, we seek to assure all our valued patients, that we are closely monitoring the situation and are doing everything we can to keep you safe.
We are constantly updating our procedures as new information becomes available.
Our staff have been to trained to take your calls and to triage them appropriately. It is important to inform our staff if you have a fever, runny nose, sore throat, cough or any other flu like symptoms or if you have been in contact with someone who has a confirmed case of Covid-19.
We are offering a range of extra services so that you may access safe and timely health care. These include Telehealth consultations which help to minimise your exposure to other sick patients and decrease the need for you to leave your home.
Influenza vaccination clinics are being held as stock becomes available. We continue to offer COVID-19 Vaccination for all age group from 5 years.
In the event you do need to be seen in person by a doctor we ask that you use the hand sanitiser available upon entry to the clinic and again when leaving. Avoid touching your face with your hands and always cough into your elbow. We’ve set up a respiratory clinic to assess people who are unwell.
We are encouraging all our patients to practice COVIDsafe behaviours whenever possible.
If at any stage you have any questions regarding the situation and our services, please do not hesitate to contact us.
From our family to yours,
Drs Nicholas and Sarah Demediuk and all the staff at Parkmore Medical Centre.
